Right now
For the moment you’re in
If you know what might help, go straight there. If you do not, choose what feels loudest and kū-on will offer one small place to start.
Explore at your pace
Each offers a different kind of support. Go straight to what feels useful, or simply notice what draws you in.

Designed to ask very little
Four quiet promises shape everything inside kū-on.
No account or setup is required. You do not need to name the feeling perfectly before you start.
What you write in Let go is not saved, uploaded, or sent. kū-on only remembers simple preferences, such as audio settings, on this device.
No scores, streaks, or pressure to continue. Stopping after one breath is still using the app as intended.
After your first visit, the current exercises and audio remain available without a connection.
Why it exists
I wanted something I could open immediately, use without preparation, and leave without turning it into another obligation. The aim is deliberately small: help make the next few minutes feel more manageable.
A personal projectKeep it close
Add it to your home screen for a quieter, full-screen experience. After your first visit, the current exercises and audio can be used offline.
Open the app to installInstallation is optional. kū-on continues to work in an ordinary browser tab.
The name
kū-on is a coined name, written symbolically as 空穏. It is not an established Japanese word. The characters were chosen for the ideas they hold here.
Together, they suggest a clear, calm sky and the quiet space kū-on was built to hold.
Take only what helps
Use one exercise, stay for a few minutes, or leave whenever you want.
